With the original Guard House destroyed in a ‘public protest’ Regent Jaxon a’Rone was left with little choice but allot funding towards the building of a new, and greatly improved Guardhouse to house the criminals of the City of Eldarus.

The newly built Guard House is a massive stone structure built by the dwarfs of the North, and enchanted by some of the finest magicians, and sorcerers that the realm has to offer.

There are ten small sells, and five slightly larger cells. Each boast a bed of hay, and a small raggedy blanket for warmth, and a chamberpot.

There are three ‘offices’ one a room dedicated to the Captain of the guard, and the others as interview rooms for the prisoners, and witnesses to crimes.

There is a final room in the back, which has come to be known as some as the ‘torture’ room, but the creators of the building claim it is just ‘for storage’.

A note about the Guardhouse

All magic is nullified within the Guardhouse.

If your character is a shape shifter, he or she will be unable to shift to and from forms while in the guardhouse. If you come in as a wolf, you’re stuck as a wolf, and are likely unable to communicate with the ‘humans’ around you.

If you are put in jail unless otherwise Role played out you must remain in the cell you are placed in until you are released, or freed upon other methods.

All vampires/werewolves/demons/ect., have their powers diminished greatly, if not entirely while inside the guardhouse due to the enchantments.

The guardhouse’s enchantments are tightly wrapped around the building, and does not expand to any further than one foot outside of the doorway.

Attention:

if you would like to be a Guard you’ll need to be able to devote a minimum of two hours a day to being active in the chat Room. If you do become a guard and are unable to devote this time, you’re guard status will start to diminish, and you will not be able to make ‘arrests’ but only be able to assist or be simply be in charge of babysitting the criminals at your desk.
